Terms of Service

By creating a Syte page or using our service, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language on purpose. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Syte.

Syte's core service is free and stays free: a single-page website for your business, built from your Google Maps listing. Free pages include a small "Made with Syte.cc" attribution. You never have to pay to keep your page online.

We also offer two paid plans, Plus and Pro, which add higher limits and extra tools. They are optional. You will always see the exact price before you pay anything, and nothing you have already created is ever removed if you stop paying.

Plans are billed yearly. There is no monthly plan.

Orders are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles the payment, the receipt, and any tax due where you are, and appears as the seller on your statement. Syte never sees or stores your card details.

If it is your first purchase and you change your mind, email us within 14 days and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. You can also request a refund through Paddle's buyer portal, linked from your receipt. Refunding a first purchase releases any Founding 50 spot it claimed.

Upgrades and renewals are not refundable, unless required by law.

Prices depend on where your business is located, which we take from its Google listing, not where you are when you buy.

Upgrading from Plus to Pro takes effect immediately. You pay the difference for the rest of your current year, and your renewal date does not change.

Downgrading from Pro to Plus takes effect at the end of your current year, and you keep Pro until then. Nothing you created is removed when you downgrade.

Founding 50 is one spot per organization, and the 25% founding rate follows you between Plus and Pro.

If you run more than one location, every location runs on Pro. Locations after your first are 25% off, and a founding organization gets 25% off every location. The two discounts are never combined: you get one 25% discount, never 50%.

Your free page is never affected by any of this.

You sign in with a code sent to your email, so keep access to your email account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Create a page only for a business you own or have permission to represent.

Your page is yours. You are responsible for the content on it: business details, photos, menus, prices, links, and anything else you publish. Keep your business information accurate, and only upload content you have the right to use.

You give us permission to host, display, and process your content so we can run your page. We do not claim ownership of it.

If you use the review feature, customers may share their name, email, or phone number with you. Treat that information with care: use it only to respond to the customer or, if they opted in, to send them your newsletter. Do not sell it or share it with others.

Do not use Syte to:

• Create pages for businesses you do not represent
• Publish false, misleading, or illegal content
• Impersonate another business or person
• Send spam or abuse customer contact details
• Attempt to break, overload, or misuse the service
• Charge someone for creating their free Syte page without their knowledge that the service itself is free

We may remove or suspend pages that break these terms, harm others, or abuse the service. Where practical we will contact you first, but for serious abuse we may act immediately.

We may also update, change, or discontinue features as the service evolves.

You can delete your account and page yourself at any time from your account settings. Your page goes offline immediately and your data is permanently deleted after 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Syte is provided as is. We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent allowed by law, Sunya LLC is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service.

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page and let business owners know about significant changes. Continuing to use Syte after a change means you accept the updated terms.
