What a lovely local food store. I had not expected much because it seemed not so crowded. But I was then so surprised for the yummy food there, it costed us 215rp ($13) for a big dinner from starter, salad, main courses to healthy lassies for 3 people. The owner is also the chef taking our order and serving dishes to us. This is also what she needs to improve, ‘cause we had to wait a bit long. I would love to share my experience here and hope she can greet more customers.

My family of 8 people ate here for dinner. Ibu Sri explained it was just her cooking so wait times would be longer but we were in no rush so happy to wait. She also explained to others that arrived after us that wait times could be up to an hour so they went elsewhere which I thought was fair enough. The place was very low key, not flashy and felt home like and traditional. No loud music or decorations that pander to tourists. It felt authentic. (I'm half Indonesian so can vouch this) . We ordered chicken spring rolls, tempeh and corn fritters to start which were all absolutely excellent. I ordered chicken curry which was also delicious. Others ordered mie goreng, nasi goreng and gado gado. Again my mum, auntie and cousins were eating who are all from East Kalimantan and all their plates were empty! Superb quality of food and well worth the wait. Would go again! Sorry I only have photos of the cute friendly dog.

A little gem near our stay! Had the best nasi goreng during our stay in Ubud. The coconut was huge and fresh, and the mango juice was thick, really tasty. Love the vibe here, would definitely come back!

We have been here many times over many years. Muma seemed more interested in her phone. She is the only one working here. This place used to be packed. Our dinner was made to order but that meant others table left as they weren't attended to. Also seems only open for dinner. Taste was nice but just lacked a bit of flair.
